Wisconsin Small Business Owners Need Help
Dear Mr. Walker
News reports on the economy say corporate profits have soared since the financial meltdown of 2008, but the most profitable corporations still aren't hiring.
Banks have recovered since nearly a trillion dollars by George Bush's TARP bank bailout, but they won't lend to small businesses.
It's been nearly two years since the crooks on Wall Street crashed our economy, wiping out over a trillion dollars in home equity and personal savings. CEO's are swimming in cash, but regular people are still getting squeezed.
I urge you to call on the banks to start lending to small businesses again, and to work with homeowners to avoid foreclosures. Our economy can't take any more greed!
I am opposed to the undue influence of the banking lobby in government, and I call on you to renounce all campaign contributions from financial interests with tainted histories of corrupt practices.
Wisconsin used to be a shining example of clean government. I count on my elected leaders to serve as watchdogs in the public interest and to police corruption - not to take campaign contributions from the worst offenders!
